Come Visit Us! Our facility is in a beautiful location on the Olympic peninsula in Union, WA, right off of Hood Canal near the Olympic Mountains. Union is not much more than a post office, a small country store, a marina, some homes, and a golf course. The nearest town of moderate size is Shelton, WA, from which we are about 20 minutes by road in the direction of Hood Canal. The nearest landmark is Alderbrook Inn on Highway 106, from which we are only about a mile on Dalby Road.
Highway 106 offers a wonderful drive along the salt water Hood Canal with the Olympic Mountains as a backdrop. This road begins just south of Bremerton, easily reachable by ferry from Seattle or by a small drive from Tacoma across the Narrows Bridge. Or, if proceeding from Olympia or points south, one route is Highway 101 to Shelton. Specific directions are listed below.
From Seattle
- Take the Ferry to Bremerton.
- Take Hwy 3 to Belfair.
- After you pass through Belfair take the Y to the right onto Hwy 106.
- Go approximately 12 miles to Union.
- Turn left on Dalby (after Alderbrook Inn, Post office and water wheel).
- Go approximately 3/4 mile and turn right at the Gerbing's sign.
From Olympia
- On I-5, take exit 104 to Hwy 101.
- Go past all exits to Shelton and continue past the airport.
- After you come down the hill past the mini storage on the right, take Brockdale Road, which goes only to the right.
- Proceed to the stop sign at the end of Brockdale Road, about 1 mile.
- Turn left onto McReavey Road.
- Go 6 miles on McReavey until you reach the gas station on Dalby Road.
- Turn Right onto Dalby. Go about a quarter-mile and turn left at the Gerbing's sign.
