"Gerbing's makes battery powered gloved that warm up to 135°F, and last up to 12 hours. We tried out these gloves on a hike in subfreezing temps and although we found them not "hot", they were noticeably warm. The design is great, the small battery (whiched charged in about two hours) sits at the cuff and is easily adjustable and out of the way. They are not bulky and very light, great for all kinds of activities out in the cold."
