What do I need to run 12V gear on my bike?
Every 12V garment needs a battery harness on your bike and a temperature controller. The Harness + Controller Kit includes both, plus a wireless remote. Gloves, socks and insoles can plug into a Gerbing jacket or pant liner.
What's the difference between 7V and 12V heated gear?
7V gear is battery-powered and cordless — great for everyday wear on and off the bike. 12V gear wires directly to your motorcycle for unlimited runtime on long rides.
How long does the battery last?
It depends on the garment and heat setting. Most 7V gear runs several hours on a charge; check the product page for specifics on each item.
Is Gerbing heated gear machine washable?
Most 7V garments are machine washable — always remove the battery first and follow the care instructions on the product page.
