In 1975, a motorcyclist braved wet, frigid weather riding to work at an aeronautical machine shop — the faster he went, the colder he felt. That inspired the shop owner and an engineer to adapt heated-clothing technology from the aeronautics industry, and Gerbing Heated Clothing was born. Since then, Gerbing has been the industry leader in heating technology, keeping riders warm in the most frigid conditions. Gerbing is formed from aeronautics and fueled by a passion for power sports.

All Gerbing products are available in 12-Volt or 7-Volt. They're comfortable, safety-enhanced, and made from Ripstop Nylon for extra durability and wind resistance.
Our patented Microwire® heating system is composed of thousands of conductive filaments 1/10th the thickness of a human hair. Each garment is controlled by a sophisticated power-management and distribution system to maximize warmth and comfort.
All 12-Volt plug-in products may be used alone or in any combination, as long as they don't exceed the maximum amperage allowed by the customer's motorcycle. All 7-Volt products are powered by rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs with integrated microprocessors and LED switches for real-time battery status and power-level monitoring.
