I think the best thing about this jacket is that it heats up really fast. I've had jackets that don't really heat up or your not sure if they are working but this thing gets warm. My mom got me one for Christmas and next year I'm going to get her one too :) - heats up

I went with a bunch of friends up into the mountains and it got really cold. Trust me, everyone was pretty jealous of my Gerbing vest. - Comes with a battery. I bought one from Amazon and it didn't have a battery which was dumb

Works better than anticipated
I put this on on a cool morning and it kept me quite comfortable. I get cold easily and this is one of the few base layers items that I've had that really works. Would recommend to anyone.
- Very comfortable fit.

I have been looking for such a product for years and I absolutely love these gloves! Very easy to operate and so nice and warm. Being so pleased I have since purchased gloves and insoles for my elderly mother and a vest for me.Considered pricey by some people I know but as far as I am concerned you cannot put a price on such comfort in the brutal cold! -

I've only worn these twice so far but the gloves are true to size and the heat makes motorcycling in temperatures lower than 50 degrees no problem. I can't find anything to complain about. -

I can feel my hands in the cooler days finally!!
These gloves are phenomenal. They have made going out in the colder weather so much easier.
Completely worth the weight and price. The price was a bit of a shock. I thought I was paying $150 shipping, it ended up being nearly $250. I am happy I didn't let the cost deter me from purchasing them. Warm hands all year are amazing! -

Warmest heated gloves I've tried
I own 4 pair of battery heated gloves, 3 Gerbing and 1 OR, these are warmer by twice than any other than the old Cabela's heated gloves (no longer available, thanks a lot BassPro......). I've used them hunting in the coldest Montana Fall in years and they work great. -

I've not needed to use the jacket yet, but naturally I did try it on when it got here to make sure it would fit well enough.
I normally wear a 2XL and things are just the tiniest bit snug. I figured I'd go ahead and order the 3XL from here and it should still work just fine since 99% of any 2XL clothing/jackets/etc I buy just barely fit.
The 3XL in this jacket though is *HUGE*! I could darn near swim around in it! The sleeve ends that are supposed to snug around the wrists don't stretch at all and actually have almost an inch of space.
The part that goes around the neck if it's put 'up' to heat, also has almost an inch of extra room.
This is going to be iffy to use or even work when I need it on the bike. The sleeves will be okay as the sleeves of the leather jacket will keep them closed up well enough, but I'm not too sure ho well the neck part is going to work since it may allow in an awful lot of cold air.
If it's possible, I'll try to remember to update this review once I've had to use the liner.
Everything else about the liner is very nice though. The wiring, everything. It's well put together, even better than my old H-D heated liner. -

I have had a Gerbing heated vest for almost 20 years. I have had this jacket for 5 years now. The jacket has this new thin wire technology. I love both. I ride about 15,000 miles a year and take long trips. I don't have to worry about the reliability of my jacket, it just plain works. I have ridden in rain/snow you name it. It just plain works. Wear a long sleeve Tee shirt and then this liner over that. Your usual riding jacket over that will keep you warm. A Goretex liner (to keep wind out) and this will keep me warm down to 40 degrees. Adding a layer over the heated jacket takes me down to below freezing. This jacket also looks nice enough to wear out to a restaurant after you park the bike for the day. Current draw is small enough it works on BMW systems without drawing too many amps.
